Watching for Santa

Colin has really started to understand about the whole "Santa" thing and I am very excited for him and to start sharing these special moments with him. While he still doesn't comprehend the waiting until Christmas Eve thing, it's still fun. We had planned on being out of town on Christmas Eve but wanted to start preparing Colin for Santa's visits at home so we decided to do the whole "Santa" thing a few days early, he wouldn't understand anyway.

So we got our Santa plate out, put some cookies on it and Colin was set to place it on the fireplace for Santa to enjoy when he came to visit. After a few questions and explanations that Santa would come down the chimney and bring Colin's presents, he turned around pretty quick and sat and stared up the chimney expecting to see Santa coming down. I'm telling you, this kid is smart and quick!
