Colin is a typical almost 2 year old. He's a broken record. This is how our conversation goes on the way home from school.
Me: Colin did you have fun at school today?
Colin: Yea
Me: Who'd you play with?
Colin: Mer-Mer (he can't say Meredith)
Me: Who else did you play with?
Colin: Bella Boo (his cute nickname for Bella)
Me: Did you go outside?
Colin: Yea
Me: What'd you do outside?
Colin: Mommy, big tractor
Me: Yes honey, I see. What'd you do outside?
Colin: Mommy, big tractor
Me: Yes, I see
Colin: A big tractor
Me: Ok, did you sing songs at school?
Colin: Mommy, big truck
Me: Yes honey, I see the big truck, but what songs did you sing at school?
Colin: A big truck
As you can see, his train of thought is comparable to a 10 week old puppy but he's so cute. Now that the road construction between our home and school is wrapping up, the constant site of big tractors is coming to an end.
